Over 40 years ago there was not a single organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the Allston and Brighton communities. But with the advent of the Allston-Brighton APAC, comprehensive social services became a mainstay of the neighborhood. Over the years the APAC continues to identify local needs and create programs to enact positive change.
Allston-Brighton APAC services and programs include:- Career development and employment counseling
- Emergency assistance and crisis counseling,
including domestic violence intervention - Services and small cash grants
- Affordable housing advocacy
- Emergency Food Pantry
