Educational and Support Services for Clients Most in Need

The GED for the Homeless Program is a program of ABCD LearningWorks.  The program serves homeless adults over the age 24 with pre-GED and GED instruction.

In addition to classroom learning, students learn basic computer skills and participate in enrichment activities. Student also receive case management to prepare them to search for and obtain a job, enroll in college, and stabilize their households. Program staff work with other service providers to link enrolled homeless students to other housing and stabilization services.

Applicants must test at a competency level of Grade 6 or above to be eligible for enrollment.
