Men can be safer, stronger, and healthier
The Men’s Health Capacity Building Project is committed to fostering men's participation in family planning and creating opportunities for men to address their reproductive and sexual health care needs.
The program incorporates men's socialization about manhood, sex, and sexuality, and its impact on men's health behaviors to promote responsible and healthy family planning, reproductive and sexual health behavior in men. It helps adult men to reduce their sexual risk behaviors to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
The Men’s Health Capacity Building Project strives to increase men's use of contraceptives, and increase their overall awareness, knowledge and support of the family planning and reproductive health choices of their partners.
Clinical services for men, including individual counseling on family planning, male health, STD/HIV counseling and testing, are available at several health centers. For current sites, please refer to the site listing. Male sites are marked with a ^.
