Some ABCD neighborhood sites offer free SafeLink wireless phone application services. SafeLink Wireless phones provides a free cell phone and a limited number of voice minutes each month for low-income-eligible families (one per family) who do not use Lifeline services offered by any other phone or wireless company. It is funded through the Universal Service Fund

SafeLink phones keep families connected to loved ones and are an important resource in case of an emergency. The application process is quick and easy, and an ABCD staff member will offer assistance in completing and submitting the SafeLink application.
