ABCD's South End NSC, also known as SNAP, offers ABCD services and programs that include:


In addition, SNAP offers the following services, unique to this location:

  • Second Chance @ Success: a life and job skills development program for formally incarcerated youth from the Suffolk Corrections Center, featuring paid internships and courses on job and college readiness
  • Job Preparation Services: training in job readiness and job search skills
  • Housing Assistance: housing search and application assistance services to help low-income families obtain safe, affordable housing
  • Parenting Skill Workshops: educational workshop series teaching parents how to raise healthy children and address current parenting issues
  • Creative and Critical Learning: a youth program for arts, media, and other creative outlets, that provides youth with an avenue for positive expression while simultaneously gaining skills in the areas of literacy, community organizing, and professional development
  • Young Ladies for a Better Tomorrow: a peer leadership group led by young ladies to empower and address the needs and issues facing young women today
  • Eighteen 101: a youth program for 16 and 17 years old that offers life skills education and case management to ease transition into legal “adulthood”. Eighteen 101 provides assistance with college application processes, and information on laws, day-to- day readiness, and creative forms of expression through a series of workshops and ongoing one-on-one case management.
