Keeping Everyone Connected
Some ABCD sites offer free wireless phone application services that help provide a free cell phone and a limited number of voice minutes each month for low-income eligible families (one per family). It is funded through the Universal Service Fund.
These wireless telephones keep families connected to loved ones and are an important resource in case of an emergency. The application process is quick and easy, and an ABCD staff member will offer assistance in completing and submitting an application.
